Aspiring for excellence within a team, I seek to empower adults and children through education and the pursuit of Wellness. As a Teacher and Mindfulness Specialist, I work with primary schools, agencies and students to build a values-based culture of trust and resiliency that prioritizes wellbeing alongside curriculum outcomes. I believe that building compassionate, trusting relationships is key to empowering adults and children through education and advocate a mindfulness approach to thriving in adversity.
When I am not in the classroom, you can often find me researching and learning more about these areas and how they connect to handwriting, neuroscience, networking with like-minded professionals, and designing learning experiences that deliver the curriculum through what I term a 'Mindfulness Mindset'.
I have spent over a decade in the Education industry working as a mentor and teacher, having taught in several schools across Melbourne and London, managed teams and have partnered with ANZUK Education Services as their Brand Ambassador. Certified in several mindfulness and wellbeing courses, I also create Mindfulness content for targeting primary school students.
I acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and recognise the continuing connection to lands, waters and communities. I pay my respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders both past and present.
