Sonali is driven towards creating an addiction prevention program for the adolescents in Nairobi and its surroundings. There is a lot of focus on the treatment side of addiction and not enough on the prevention side, in her opinion.

I am also the co-founder of a healthcare technology company called Spirotum. Whereby we are developing a respiratory monitor in order to improve health outcomes for in-hospital patients. We were the winners of the annual Internet Summit in 2019, held in Cape Town. We as a company hope to produce innovations in healthcare that can improve the quality of care received by patients especially in developing countries.

Grail was formed by a group of previously disadvantaged individuals who went on to educate themselves and become professionals in highly sort after industries such as law, finance, medicine and engineering. Our philosophical aim is to collectively empower ourselves financially in order to empower our communities through our outreach NPO and its programmes.
