As my day job, I'm a Personnel Research Psychologist working for the Department of Homeland Security. I work mainly with designing or statistically validating selection tests, assessments, and interviews, in order to match the right person to the right job. In doing this, I write individual test items and examine large data sets. When I'm not doing that, I also design and analyze employee survey results, to gauge attitudes and locate opportunities for our organization to improve.
Unique Forte...or my "Superpower" in mental health (as a former boss would say): Personally and professionally, I try to filter out less important and more anxiety-inducing news in popular culture. I teach my mind to do this through practice, as well as listening to podcasts and reading books about this topic. Learning about how your brain works helps you control your thoughts, and I'd both like to inform and learn more about this area.

In addition to the individual clinical therapy she was doing, her role eventually changed to include clinical supervision of staff, and public awareness speaking engagements, to community groups, hospital staff, and other agencies serving the community at large. Additionally, for a two year period during her tenure at Victim Services, she was asked to coordinate the agencies citywide rape crisis programs, which included developing a treatment protocol for all rape crisis counselors throughout the city as well as providing ongoing supervision. There she co-facilitated groups for men who had been arrested for battering their spouse. Eventually she was asked to be part of the training team during their training retreats for other batterer’s intervention providers. 🇺🇸 Seattle, Washington State, USA
I received my MD degree from the University of Ottawa, followed by residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of British Columbia and additional fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital in pediatric Orthopaedics and Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada in Musculoskeletal Oncology. In addition, I completed a Master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at the University of British Columbia and a certificate program in Quality Improvement at the University of Washington. Following fellowship training, I practiced at the University of Washington/Seattle Cancer Care Alliance for over 6 years focusing on treating patients with benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors.
My focus is on healthcare transformation through improvement in healthcare value. Value is determined by increasing the quality of care and decreasing the cost. These goals can be reached through initiatives focused on both patients and healthcare providers. My goal is to address the patient and provider aspects that will lead to improved value in healthcare. Working with others, we can reach this goal across the world, leading to general wellbeing and allowing each of us to strive for and reach our goals in life. A central concept of this goal is to incorporate best practices from diverse areas, such as traditional medical care, Eastern principles of care, and related sciences, such as sleep and recovery, mindset training, nutrition, and peak performance. The combination of these elements will create a holistic model of care that will transform healthcare!

I assist people overwhelmed by life's demands to transform themselves easily and effortlessly.
I initially pursued a career in Medical Science in Histology. Fascinated with scientific research on the mind/body connection, I developed a life-long passion for examining how the subconscious profoundly affects the overall quality of life. This quest led me to becoming a Life Coach, EFT Practitioner, and an internship with Dr. J Dunn in Wholistic Kinesiology.
At the Think Institute in Idaho, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of the subtleties of emotions as energy and the profound affect it has on our health, and certified in Theta Healing: DNA 1, DNA 2, and Intuitive Anatomy, and later in Recoding - clearing and neutralizing negative programming (beliefs).
After many years of working with these modalities in my coaching practice, I culminated all of them into Mastery of Emotions, taking my clients on a deep journey into Intimacy (into me see). Because every choice you make is through you’re chasing an emotion. That emotion may be a feeling of happiness, fulfillment, love, or confidence. However, as we’re chasing emotions, we’re also running away from them.
The main focus of my work is EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as Tapping. It’s a simple and powerful modality with major benefits backed by astounding science. Through EFT, we begin to clear negative patterns, habits, and behaviors, allowing one to tap into profound levels of resource, power, and confidence, showing up in a deeper place of peace and joy.
