Brice Nguedia Vofo

Dr. Brice Vofo, is a medical doctor, currently specializing in ophthalmology, at the Hadassah- Hebrew University Medical center in Jerusalem, Israel.

He obtained his MD degree from the University of Buea, Cameroon in 2015, where he graduated with honors. During his years in the university, in his capacity as president of the Faculty’s Student Union, he organized many community health campaigns and radio and TV programs for community health education. In recognition to his work, he was designated as the south west regional representative to the national assembly of Cameroon. His work in the community is mainly to deliver tools and strategies for the most underserved marginalized community members in Cameroon to deal with their health challenges.

Dr Brice was particularly touched by the condition of the blind people in the community, most of whom are abandoned to themselves and Sink deep into depression and hopelessness. This motivated Him to pursue a carrier in ophthalmology, with special interest in ophthalmic surgeries, because he hopes to return home and give his best in the rehabilitation of such cases.

He is also very much interested in research, his research works have been published in some of the most highly ranked Journals in ophthalmology and in 2020 he was recognized as the resident with the most innovative research ideas in his training program.
