After a 40 year career in rehabilitation services, hospital administration, academic faculty member at the University of Southern California, post-doctoral Fellow in Cognitive Psychology & Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and a National Institutes of Health multi-site clinical trial researcher (https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT00243919 ), Dr Sullivan left the ivory tower of academia to start a new career as a social entrepreneur. Today, Dr Sullivan is on a mission to transform the field of cognitive psychology and end healthcare disparity across the world starting in Riverside County, California, USA where she lives and works.
Dr Sullivan is creating an international network of independent licensed healthcare professionals who will work with healthcare compliant, ethical administrators to create Community Wellness Centers. The Wellness Center Administrators will be responsible for protecting the people who need healthcare and the professionals who provide essential medical, dental, restorative, and mental healthcare. These health & wellness collaboratives will honor the cultural preferences of the local community and respect the natural resources of the built environment and the land.
