I began my career in behavior modification as a behavioral interventionist with children and teens with autism. I received my Master’s degree from the University of Southern California in Clinical Social Work with a specialization in Children & Family Studies. My clinical training focused on providing psychotherapy for marginalized populations utilizing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which identify the effects on traumatic stress of individuals and their families. I have worked for social service agencies and tele-therapy companies engaging people in individual/group psychotherapy and coaching services with client’s experiencing severe cases of mental illness utilizing trauma informed care and wellness techniques to help them navigate through social systems, decrease stress, and increase positive self-esteem. I am trained in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and certified as a Heart Math Certified Clinician and a Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator. I assist clients in discovering their style of mindfulness, self-regulation, and self-care skills through a positive mindset. I specialize in helping youth, college students (undergraduate, graduate, & PHD), and adults learn to manage emotional stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, Trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues. Collaborating with clients on individualized goals helps them tap into their authentic selves and restructure negative thinking patterns. I think it is important to meet people where they are focusing on their strengths to inspire and motivate them to meet their particular needs or goals. The services I provide are Individual Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Facilitation, Consultations with Companies, and Content Creative Marketing.
