Charlotte Frye is a consultant, trainer, educator, entrepreneur, interdisciplinary treatment team agent, and counseling psychology specialist with intensive professional experience. Char completed an Ed.D in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University with a concentration in supervision. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a qualified supervisor in the state of Florida for interns seeking licensure. Char is also a Licensed Professional Counselor – Mental Health Service Provider (LPC-MHSP) in the state of Tennessee and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) with the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). Dr. Char holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Professional Counseling and a Bachelor of Religious Education (BRE) in Religious Studies. She has a primary certification in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), certification as a trainer with Model Approach too Parenting Practices (MAPP), and held Florida Department of Education certifications in Guidance & Counseling and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) for many years. This formal training and educational background has contributed to her career in both counseling and educational fields. Dr. Char commonly utilizes the Geodesic Learning Model, some cognitive behavioral approaches, along with other theoretical models and her own clinical approach to help organizations, individuals, couples, and families across the developmental life-span. The enthusiasm that continues to keep the spark in Dr. Char’s eye is her passion for working with medical facilities and patients with diabetes to gain renewed confidence in their ability to live a life of joy and vitality. Helping those in need to reach their highest level of functioning through private practice, online training programs, and collaborating with other professionals is paramount of Dr. Char.
