Jeff Davidek, is the Chief Strategist and Co-Founder of Troutwood, a fintech company based at Carnegie Mellon University’s Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship. Dedicated to freeing minds, from financial stress, for financial independence – the company is developing software applications and educational content intended to help individuals, regardless of socioeconomic background, gain financial literacy and overcome behavioral biases which often create obstacles to achieving financial wellness.
Prior to Troutwood, Jeff spent his career working with institutional investors across the nation, including time at a global investment bank and 14 years as partner and senior vice president of a top-ranked asset management firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Allegheny College and enjoys teaching financial planning in his spare time at Grove City College. Previously, Jeff served on the advisory board of the Pennsylvania Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems and as a member of numerous organizations dedicated to trustee education and pension reform.
