Carl Lemieux is the founder and the managing partner at Mindsmatter. Carl has over 35 years’ experience as a management consultant offering services in strategic planning, organizational transformation, executive coaching, leadership development, more recently specializing in wellness and conscious leadership. He works in the public and private and public sectors in North America, Europe, Africa and Australia.

Carl supports leaders, teams and individuals to unleash their potential, using increased awareness on what it means to have a life of meaning, clarifying what is deemed as important to oneself, while cultivating a sense of well-being. This requires to also works with competing forces, identifying and working with those aspects that tend to keep us stuck in our habitual patterns and automatic reflexes.

Carl’s strengths lie in developing individuals to face an ever-increasing complex and uncertain future. Supported by neuroscience, leading-edge clinical and management practices, Carl focuses on developing mindful individuals and organizations, helping individuals develop focus, presence, clarity of thought, creativity, develop resilience, make better decision-making and increase their compassion in the service of others and the collectivity.

Carl is a licensed industrial and organizational psychologist from Université de Montréal and the University of Ottawa, as well as a member of the Quebec Order of Psychologists. He holds an EMBA from Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also a Qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher (MBSR) from the Centre for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts) and trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
