The Mental Wellness Society is the first and only society that is grounded in cutting-edge science, technology, and theory, offering programs and practices – such as the MindfulChoice Method and Tools - for successfully optimizing living and working.
The MWS is a global and open collaborative online platform, created and maintained by a community of leading Mental Wellness Professionals, specializing in all aspects of well-being to cooperatively improve people’s lives and positively impact our modern Society.
To maintain the MWS as a dynamic and ever-expanding source of knowledge, the Society offers support for directed research projects by doctoral students, intent on investigating topics aligned with Mental Wellness and Social Wellness. Senior members of the MWS commit to working with students in the development of their proposals.

Wellness refers to the process of living a healthy lifestyle, involves self-directed behavior, and always looking for the healthier choices we can make in any situation.
In our context, health usually refers to mental health – the remediation of disorders.
Wellness focuses on preserving and enhancing personal well-being in all it’s form.
